And that’s how we should deal with pain. Pain should change us for the better. Pain should make you hungry. Hungry to move onto better things so that you don’t have to feel the same way. It should be a catapult to launch us to greater heights. That’s why pain actually matters. Because it changes us. Every time you go through some form of emotional pain, some kind of emotional turmoil, remember the power you possess. The power of pain. Know that you posses one of the greatest weapons that mankind has ever known.… Read More Of pain and why it matters.
Tiny raindrops cascade down my glass window As the winds scatter the falling waters outside Trees shake in song The cold breeze sweeps across the street A squirrel runs in search of shelter; In the distance, lovers hold hands under an umbrella Unbothered by nature’s cries of joy Unbothered by the passing storm ‘blink’ then… Read More Life through a glass window
“Hatred is gained as much by good works as by evil.”
It is very possible to treat someone with all the love and respect in the world, to be there for them, to treasure them and simply love them honestly, and still have them hate you and reject you. I honestly can’t get into the why, I guess that’s for you to think about and tell me.
Learn to fly alone The great eagle seldom flies with an another. And yet he soars highest. Be like the the great eagle. LEARN TO FLY ALONE. Solomon
Always remember that whatever you feel isn’t permanent. It doesn’t last for eternity. If you’re sad and or depressed, and its taking longer than you expected or longer than it should to fade, then you probably didn’t give yourself time to feel. You have to learn to take in the sadness. Physically cry if you feel like. When we feel things, we are easily able to let them fade you. It is probably why the intensity of the love in relationships fades. Just like love, sadness and depression are all feelings. The intensity of these feelings varies over time. Love only fades over time because we allow ourselves to feel it. Therefore, we ought to do the same for depression and for sadness. We have to let ourselves feel them.
But what happens when it doesn’t fade? Well, the truth is even when it doesn’t fade, you learn to live with it! All biological species possess the ability to adapt to changes. With time, your body can adapt to living amidst the sadness and depression. This is not something we love to hear but it’s the truth. It is easier to get work done when you understand all this. This is the importance of time. Give yourself time to get to this point.
‘Snowflake’ Hold me before I break. Give me before I take. This feeling, I cannot fake. My soul, a pain stuck at ‘The Gate’ So hold me, My hearts’ at stake. Heal me, this void I create. Oh! Snowflake How I wish you could relate -Solomon- Just another random poem to bless your feed

Let’s hold hands and get lost in the silence. May I drown in your soul and suffocate in your very existence. Let the beauty of the silence, the peak of the darkness and the mystery of desire swallow us up. So that we may get lost, never to be found. SOLOMON
